Uva Ursi (Arctostaphylos uva ursi) is a low lying evergreen shrub in the same family as the blue and upland cranberry. Native to Europe, it is naturalized throughout the temperate zones of the Northern Hemisphere northward to the Arctic Circle.
-Uva Ursi leaves have been used for centuries as a mild diuretic in treating bladder and kidney infections. The leaves also have anesthetic properties that help to numb urinary tract pain. It has been used for liver ailments. Herbalists also recommend the herb as a diuretic for fluid retention, bloating, and swelling. Homeopathic remedies are for inflammation of the urinary tract.
-The German Commission E has approved uva ursi for urinary tract infections.
Caution: Uva ursi should be avoided by people with chronic kidney disease, including acidic urine, peptic ulcers, or duodenal ulcers. Uva Ursi may aggravate gastroesophageal reflux disease. Liver damage can occur if the herb is used too often, especially in children. If you take any medications, please consult your healthcare provider before use, as Uva Ursi interacts with certain medications.
Potential Allergen: Although rare, Uva Ursi can cause an allergic reaction if you are allergic to this herb. You must seek medical attention immediately if you have a severe allergic reaction.
Avoid if: Giving Uva Ursi to children, or if you’re pregnant, breastfeeding, or if you have any intestinal, liver, or kidney diseases. People with Crohn's, digestive problems, kidney or liver disease, or ulcers should not take uva ursi.

Sizing (if applicable)
We do not accept returns or exchanges for incorrect sizing of copper jewelry. Please read the description and take measurements to assure that the jewelry piece will fit correctly.

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at cs@acsensionsbyzoe.com.
Missing Items (if applicable)
We are more than happy to send an item that was missing from your order free of shipping. Please reach out to us within 30 days by email cs@acsensionsbyzoe.com and attach a picture of your packing slip.
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.
