Shungite, a black stone found solely in Karelia, Russia, is divided into three types based on the stone's carbon content: Elite Shungite, Black, and Gray Shungite. Elite Shungite is the highest grade with the most beneficial properties, ranging from water purification to EMF protection. It is especially beneficial for physical and spiritual healing.
The Three Types Of Shungite
Some sources differentiate between Elite, Black, and Gray Shungite, while others only distinguish between Elite and Regular varieties. Black and Gray Shungite are both considered Regular Shungite and the former has the lowest carbon content.
1. Elite (Noble) Shungite A+++ has 90%+ carbon content, a glistening black hue, and powerful properties for curative/EMF shielding.
2. Black Shungite (Petrovsky Shungite) is 75-50% carbon, with coal-like color. It can by sourced and cut/polished due to its mineral/element composition.
3. Gray Shungite has 50-30% carbon and a dark gray hue. Craftable shapes include bowls, plates, pyramids, spheres, cubes, towers, phone stands, pocket stones, skincare items and jewelry.

How To Use For Water Purification: Place Elite Shungite in a gallon of water for 6 hours until the sides of the container is lined with bubbles.
Elite (or Noble) Shungite is the rarest form of this mineral, comprising less than 1% of all Shungite deposits. Its organic carbon content is amongst the highest, up to 98%, and contains a considerably greater amount of Fullerenes compared to lower grades.
Each specimen of Elite Shungite is unique in shape. Some stones may contain small deposits of pyrite or iron oxide--both of which occur naturally in the material--which exhibit themselves as light spots or reddish brown veins. Despite this, the inclusion of these minerals is harmless, and the stone is still safe to use in water.

We do not accept returns or exchanges for incorrect sizing of copper jewelry. Please read the description and take measurements to assure that the jewelry piece will fit correctly.

Missing Items (if applicable)
We are more than happy to send an item that was missing from your order free of shipping. Please reach out to us within 30 days by email cs@acsensionsbyzoe.com and attach a picture of your packing slip.
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
