Dandelion (taraxacum officinale) has historically been an herb considered to be a rich source of beta-carotene and potassium. According to folk medicine, dandelion was used for disturbances in bile flow, inflammatory conditions of the urinary tract, and dyspepsia. It was also used for liver and gallbladder disorders, hemorrhoids, gout, rheumatic diseases, eczema, and other skin conditions. The herb is a diuretic and is used for bladder and kidney complaints.
-Unlike many conventional diuretics, which cause a loss of potassium, dandelion is rich in potassium—using the herb as a diuretic results in a net gain of this vital mineral. Because of its diuretic effect, dandelion helps to counteract urine retention in bladder infections.
-The bitter principles in dandelion increase bile production and flow in the liver. This makes it useful for people with sluggish liver function due to alcohol abuse or poor diet. It is restorative to the liver and helps reduce the risk of developing gallstones. But should you already have gallstones, dandelion should be avoided, as it will increase bile flow and pressure against the stones.
Caution: Dandelion roots may interact with certain medications, including antibiotics, anticoagulants, and blood sugar drugs. Consult a healthcare professional before taking it. It acts as a diuretic, so taking diuretics could negatively impact kidney function and cause an electrolyte imbalance. Follow directions and use caution if you have kidney issues.
Potential Allergen: Although rare, dandelion root can cause an allergic reaction if you are allergic to this herb. You must seek medical attention immediately if you have a severe allergic reaction.
Avoid: Consumption of dandelion root if pregnant or nursing, or if given to children.

We do not accept returns or exchanges for incorrect sizing of copper jewelry. Please read the description and take measurements to assure that the jewelry piece will fit correctly.

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at cs@acsensionsbyzoe.com.
Missing Items (if applicable)
We are more than happy to send an item that was missing from your order free of shipping. Please reach out to us within 30 days by email cs@acsensionsbyzoe.com and attach a picture of your packing slip.
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.
